My name is Chris Caulder. Old friends know me as "Skip." It may not look like it from the picture, but I am the most open-minded, insanely passionate, unselfishly giving, and nicest person you could ever meet. No shit.

I used to have this website called BACKSEAT.NET back in 2000. A lot of people visited it and loved what I had to say about pop culture, and what I was feeling each day (online journal). I retired the site in 2002 and formed Monochrome Vision Productions (now Ousted Productions)... which is basically an outlet for my art and art that my friends make, and a location for my button business and art-related companies.

I am 32, and my passion for art / music / movies / books / computers / doing cool things with computers cannot be understated. I still act like I'm 16, passion-wise. I have the same passion for music and movies now as I did when I was 16 when I heavily got into good music and films.

Every single day, I'm on the hunt for new music, new books, new films, new art. I spend a ton of time listening to music, reading, watching movies, making music, working on screenplay ideas, writing poetry, you name it.

I work a day job (just like everyone else).... thankfully it's a job I love to do (teach music). But I feel insanely strong about art. I can't understand for the life of me why so many people just get old and die without doing anything interesting or something to affect someone else emotionally. I think we are put here on this earth for many important reasons... not just to keep the big machine functioning. I believe art is the best gift anyone can give or receive. And anyone can be an artist, writer, painter, musician. Just do it. Or learn how. Or take lessons at the school where I teach! ;-) I love all art, but music is definitely at the top of the list. When I was younger, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.... there's never been any doubt, as music chose me, and not the other way around.

I have a few friends that help out with this website and its companies. I love all of my friends, especially the ones who give so much through their art.

I hope you like everything this site has to offer. I keep everything on this site cheap (or free)... I'm not here to make a huge profit. I just want people to support my art and my friends' art because I feel it's worthy of their hard-earned cash, and of their time.

Thanks for taking the time to check all this out.
