Music Production/Reference Magazines (the big three!)

Computer Music Magazine (this magazine helped me a lot, in writing, arranging and producing music with a computer and virtual instruments. They give away a full DVD of samples, free software, etc. with each issue. TOTALLY WORTH IT! The magazine is usually $15 for people in the US, but you get a TON of stuff. Excellent read, been around since the late 90s. You save a lot if you get a subscription, and it's definitely worth it, as I've said.)

Future Music Magazine (sister publication to Computer Music. Equally great, and LOTS of unsigned music reviews. Not many magazines have as many reviews, ESPECIALLY for unsigned/self-released music. Also has a US version, which is less pages, smaller, and sort of dumbed-down in a way, but still good.)

Music Tech Magazine (Music Tech seems to be the new favorite out of these three... it's steadily on the rise. The CD that comes with each issue is awesome and completely useful.)

All of these magazines are available at every Barnes and Noble and Borders bookstore in the USA.
